Core Labs

To facilitate biomedical research at Chang Gung University (CGU) and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (CGMH), the Chang Gung Proteomics Core Laboratory (CGPCL) was established in CGU in 2002.

The Genomics Core is committed to support research which integrates transcriptomics and genomics approaches to accelerate the discovery of disease markers and therapeutic targets.

The Chang Gung Bioinformatics Core (CGBC) Laboratory is the central repository of all the information relevant to “Biomedical-informatics”. The core is physically located at Chang Gung University with a distributed network of computers, applications and activities at the participating sites.

The Pathology Core provides histology-based research services and assists the performance and interpretation of immunohistochemical (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) procedures since 2006.

The mission of this core is to provide important tools, consultations and technical resources to strengthen biomedical research in gene functional studies.

The aims of this Core Laboratory are to assist the molecular epidemiology research on campus, to provide hardware and software necessary for whole genome gene expression analyses, single nucleotide polymorphism genotyping analysis as well as the construction and storage of a comprehensive database.

CGMMRC microRNA core is a research and service team which established in 2011.
